The Dow Jones Industrial Average surged 331points (2.6%) higher to close at 13,289, the S&P 500 Index jumped up 41points (2.9%) to 1,469, and the Nasdaq Composite soared 82 points (3.2%) to 2,663. Crude oil finished down $2.87 to $91.55 per barrel, and gold ended $8.70 lower at $805.30 per ounce.
