The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 205 points (1.6%) to close at 13,451, the S&P 500 Index rose 24 points (1.7%) to 1,484, and the Nasdaq Composite advanced 51 points (1.9%) to 2,692. Crude oil gained $2.25 to $93.31 per barrel, and gold ended up $12.40 at $811.60 per ounce. For the week, the DJIA closed 0.9% higher, the S&P 500 Index gained 1.2%, and the Nasdaq Composite rose 2.1%.
