Stocks Decline On Record Run In Crude & Worries In Financials

The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 107 points (0.9%) to close at 11,347, the S&P 500 Index fell 5 points (0.4%) to 1,278, and the Nasdaq Composite declined 6 points (0.2%) to 2,316. Crude oil finished up $0.57 to $140.21 per barrel, and gold ended up $14.60 at $929.70 per ounce. For the week, the DJIA closed 4.2% lower, the S&P 500 Index was down 3.0%, and the Nasdaq Composite declined 3.8%.
