The Dow Jones Industrial Average jumped 277 points (2.5%) to close at 11,239, the S&P 500 Index increased 30 points (2.5%) at 1,245, and the Nasdaq Composite surged 69 points (3.1%) to 2,285. Crude oil fell $4.14 to $134.60 per barrel, and gold declined $18.80 at $959.90 per ounce.
