The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 42 points (0.4%) to close at 11,284, the S&P 500 Index dropped 11 points (0.9%) at 1,249, and the Nasdaq Composite declined 25 points (1.1%) to 2,286. Crude oil lost $3.69 to $121.41 per barrel, and gold declined $13.90 to $895.10 per ounce.
