The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 122 points (1.7%) to close at 7,278, the S&P 500 Index lost 16 points (2.0%) to 769, and the Nasdaq Composite decreased 26 points (1.8%) to 1,457. Crude oil fell $0.55 to $51.06 per barrel, and gold fell $7.90 to $951.96 per ounce. For the week, the DJIA rose 0.8%, the S&P 500 Index gained 1.6%, and the Nasdaq Composite increased 1.8%.
