Crude oil declined $0.87 to $88.60 per barrel, and gold ended up $1.50 at $770.20 per ounce. For the week, the DJIA gave up 4.1%, the S&P 500 Index lost 3.9%, and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 2.9%.
