Credit Concerns & Financials Steer Markets Lower

The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 122 points (0.9%) to close at 13,109, the S&P 500 Index fell 19 points (1.3%) to 1,451, and the Nasdaq Composite declined 26 points (1.0%) to 2,619. Crude oil dipped $0.66 to $93.43 per barrel, and gold ended $25.30 lower at $789.40 per ounce.
