Financials & Commodities Lead Plunge In U.S. Markets

The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 362 points (2.6%) to close at 13,568, the S&P 500 Index declined 41 points (2.6%) to 1,508, and the Nasdaq Composite lost 64 points (2.3%) to 2,795. Crude oil declined $1.04 to $93.49 per barrel, and gold ended $3.60 higher at $791.70 per ounce.
