The ADP employment report for November showed US private sector jobs increased by 189,000, while last month's data was revised upward to 119,000.
Factory orders increased 0.5% in October, no change had been expected. Excluding transportation, orders were up 0.6%.
The ISM Non-Manufacturing Index fell 1.7 to 54.1 in November. New orders declined from 55.7 to 51.1, while prices paid rose from 63.5 to 76.5.
Final 3Q Non-farm productivity was revised upward from an annualized rate of 4.9% in the preliminary reading to 6.3%, unit labor costs fell 2.0%. More from Bloomberg...
