Crude oil declined $1.20 to $57.04 per barrel, and gold ended up $36.60 at $741.60 per ounce. For the week, the DJIA fell 5.0%, the S&P 500 Index was down 6.2%, and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 7.9%.
