Stocks Move Higher, Crude Oil Prices Surge

The Dow Jones Industrial Average advanced 35 points (0.3%) to close at 13,913, the S&P 500 Index gained 6 points (0.4%) to 1,531, and the Nasdaq Composite rose 11 points (0.4%) to 2,710. Crude oil rose $2.58 to $82.88 per barrel, and gold ended $5.50 higher at $734.10 per ounce.
